The flat bottom design sits flush in the brewer, and I swear my coffee's been cleaner and more consistent since I switched. These papers are sturdy enough that they don't rip on the way in, which was my biggest pet peeve with cheaper ones. Every batch just tastes more balanced now, no fuss.
